Südbahnhof, the South Railway Station, is one of the largest railway stations in Vienna, located in the southeastern part of the Austrian capital. Originally, two stations were built here in the 1840’s, but they were rebuilt and combined in between 1955 and 1961. Plans for the future include another rebuilding, and the station might become the central railway station of Vienna.
