Spanish Horseriding School - Vienna
The Spanish Horseriding School, the only institution of the world, where the art of classical horseback riding is practiced and taught, is located in the Hofburg of Vienna. The famous vienese horses hold daily morning practices with music, and a gala show is presented at 7pm on Fridays and at 11am on Saturdays.
The horseriding school and the stables can be visited with a guide, tours are offered every day except for Mondays, starting at 2, 3 and 4pm. The Hofburg Palace is located in downtown Vienna, with Volksgarten to the northwest, Burggarten to the southeast, Burgring to the southwest, and Michaelerplatz to the northeast. By public transportation, it can be reached on bus 2A or 3A, and it is a short walk from the Herrengasse station of the U3 metro.
