The Secession is situated in the centre of Vienna, near Karlsplatz. The hundred-year-old building was rebuilt and remodeled a number of times, the major of these took place after the Second World War, when it was destroyed to its foundations, the last of these in the 1980’s. The building hosts about 20 art exhibitions each year.
The Secession can be visited Tuesday through Saturday, from 10am until 6pm. At 3pm on Saturdays, and at 11am on Sundays, guided tours are available. By public transportation, it can be accessed from the Karlsplatz or the Museumsquartier metro stations.  A Secession – Vienna - nearest hotels
