Theater an der Wien was originally built in 1801, and was opened as Vienna’s new opera house in 2006, on the 250th anniversary of the birth of Mozart. The majority of its permanent musicians consist of the famous Wiener Symphoniker, and the Arnold Schoenberg choir.
